Across the pond Prince William and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, are busy learning how to be new parents to the future king of England, Prince George. GoldPainting Inc. is also guessing they’re helping their newborn son settle into his nursery at home.
According to the Huffington Post, baby George was going home from the hospital to a chic room! That’s because Kate Middleton is known for her classic, elegant style, and according the Post article, one ABC News contributor on the royals said the nursery will be outfitted in a pale neutral color scheme that mimics her quintessential style.
E! Online added that Middleton will stay away from traditional baby (boy) blue in favor of earthy neutrals to compliment an ecru-colored basinet the couple purchased and the brown herringbone curtains she was recently spotted buying.
The Post noted, too, that designer Kelly Hoppen, who’s known for her use of beige and taupe, was rumored to be the decorator in charge of making baby George’s nursery a respite fit for a future king!
